Weekly Report

I Can already see I'm not going to be very good about posting here.

Here's my weekly wrap-up.
Lost: 0
Gained: 0

My weight stayed the same this week. The weekend eating got a little cray-cray and now I'm SO glad that I ate well and exercised during the week so I didn't gain. I'm worried that I may be setting myself up for failure starting a diet this time of year. We just had Mothers Day, this weekend I'm going out of town with my sister and then the weekend after that we're going to Utah. So if I maintain, rather than gain, these next two weeks I decided I'll be happy. The thing about this whole weight-loss thing is that I really am not in a rush. I have no event to be ready for or a trip that I need to "look good" for. So it's really okay. Because seriously, I don't know about you, but when Coronado casserole, homemade cookies, Cinnabon cheesecake, truffles, twice-baked potatoes, marshmallow salad, and lemon/blueberry scones are offered to me- I eat them! And so I did. That's the thing about dieting. I don't run out and buy a tub of ice cream and go to town, but if something if sitting there in front of me it is hard to resist. As a sort of "punishment" for eating off my plan I am lowering my calories to 1200 for the next two weeks. So far it's been fine. I am trying a few low-cal recipes this week that I'll be sure to share.

I know you can do it! I'll help you by also dieting! No eating out for us...at least for a month or two.

P.S. - "Cray-cray" = Barf.
