Ooops. Again!
So I set that goal and then I got PREGNANT again! Who does that?! Me. But not this time! I'm part of a group in my family of women who are on a quest to be SLIMMER by SUMMER. My personal goal was to lose 20 pounds by my birthday, putting me at my pre-wedding weight. I have 16 pounds to go and am extremely confident that I will make it. Dieting isnt easy but it isn't as hard as I always imagined it would be. Especially since I'm still nursing and that burns around 500 calories/day! WOOP! I calculated how many calories I can burn my just being alive and that is some crazy high number of 1800+. So add 500 to that for nursing I burn around 2300 calories naturally. So I try to eat under 2000 to lose some lbs in a slow, but steady fashion. It's working so far! Four pounds down. It's approximately a pound a week, which isn't great, but it's average. Also, since I'm nursing I don't want to go ALL out and eat nothing and exercise a ton because I want to be sure my milk supply is sufficient for little Cami. Right now I'm on an Elimination Diet to try to figure out what is causing Cami such horrible gas. I'm living off of potatoes, rice, turkey, squash and pears. YUM... :\ But a little sure fills me up and because it's not delicious I don't crave it. I guess that is a plus. Anyway! No promises as to whether I'll update anytime soon, but hopefully you'll be hearing from me in May saying, "I did it!!!"
