WEEK TWO

Well hello again! Brett and Kellie's second week on a diet went well! This week they lost a cumulative total of five pounds! That's 10% of their goal! They feel great about their accomplishment and are also amazed that their strategies paid off! What they mean by that is that they ate a minimal amount of food one day and then went out to eat a cheeseburger for dinner! They were joking that they'll probably end up gaining weight this week, but to their satisfaction they still lost weight. They even took an extra long walk one evening, on top of their regular exercise, to get a glazed doughnut! Although they wont be doing this very often, it is still good to know that every once in a while they can "treat" themselves! It just takes balance. This week Kellie feels that she slacked in the exercise department and she would like to be sure to make that a priority in her busy week. Maybe she'll try biking to work?? Brett ate really well this week and feels great! They are also sorry about the lack of pictures and will post some asap!!

Thank you so much for all the support!! All of you are GREAT!

I got your comment you left on my blog. I am so excited for you two! Losing weight can be such an exciting journey, it is definitely nice to have someone to do it with. I wish you all the luck in the world as you work towards your goals. I will definitely be cheering you along daily.

Also, I am so glad you realize the importance of balance. Treating yourself to a doughnut once in a while is absolutely necessary and I am so glad you do that. Sometimes we forget to treat ourselves. We deserve treats, after all, we are human :)
